Panagiotis Leftheris
Assistant General Manager Corporate & Investment Banking Business Development & Support
Panagiotis Leftheris was appointed as Assistant General Manager of Corporate & Investment Banking Business Development & Support, in June 2024.
Since joining National Bank of Greece (NBG) in 2017, he has been responsible for business strategy, planning and support activities for all Corporate & Investment Banking units. In addition, he has been a senior member of the Bank’s Transformation Program since its initiation, leading successfully several cross-functional initiatives.
Panagiotis has over 20 years of experience within the financial services industry, of which more than a decade in senior managerial positions in both retail and wholesale banking within different markets in Southeast Europe and the US. Prior to NBG, he worked in the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF), Eurobank, Citibank and Fannie Mae in the US.
He holds an MBA from the George Washington University, Washington DC and a BA in Economics from University of Athens.
