Transactions are carried out and agreements are signed with the physical presence of customers at the relevant NBG branch, in line with the legal and regulatory framework applied by the Bank. If the customer is not able to visit the relevant branch, special mandate may be granted to a third person by virtue of Power of Attorney. Please note that under the applicable regulatory framework and for the purpose of enforcing the applicable internal policies and procedures of NBG, additional legalization and verification documents may be required to verify and confirm the identity of the principal and the proxy (agent) for the completion of the relevant authorization formalities, on the basis of a power of attorney.
