- Only transfers from one NBG account to another are allowed, provided that the Money Box beneficiary is also beneficiary of the other account

Money Box is for individuals only - Digital Banking (Internet & Mobile Banking) users - and is available solely through the Bank’s digital networks. You can use this service by opening a Money Box for each new savings project you wish to set and, then, start saving to meet it.
No, Money Box is offered solely through Digital Banking (Internet & Mobile Banking).
Via Money Box you can only make transfers to and from NBG accounts, provided that the Money Box holder is also holder of the other (single or joint) account.
Money Box’s single holder is the Internet/Mobile Banking user. No joint holders are allowed.
Money Box cannot be linked to a debit card.
No, utility bills cannot be paid using Money Box.
You can “break” a Money Box in the following ways:
- on the maturity day and when your goal has been achieved; or
- any other time you wish to do so, regardless of your progress in achieving your goal.
Once you “break” your Money Box, you may transfer all money saved in this Money Box into another personal account.
The “broken” Money Box will no longer appear among the active Money Boxes. If you change your mind later, you can restore and process it using the appear/hide button.
If you want to close a Money Box, you need - for the time being - to visit a branch.
As many as you like. There is no limit as to the number of Money Boxes you can open.
