When will I receive my card?

You will receive your card by post in a few days. In the same letter, you will find the activation instructions and how to get your PIN.

Do I have the option not to use the contactless functionality of my card without using a pin?

You can either reset or restore the applicable limit of contactless transactions carried out without the use of a pin, either through the Internet & Mobile Banking applications, as long as you are a registered user, or by submitting a request to his or her NBG Branch or by calling the Bank’s Contact Center.

How secure is this card?

With NBG cards, every transaction you make is secure. But keep in mind that security also depends on you. Please remember that your PIN is like your signature and:

It's unique, strictly personal, and confidential
It must not be disclosed to third parties, not even to bank employees
You must not write it on your card, a document, or other object held or carried with the card.
When you enter it, cover the keypad.
Do not accept help from anyone to enter your PIN.
Make sure the next customer is at a discreet distance from you.
For greater security, we recommend changing your PIN at regular intervals.
