You can subscribe to Digital Banking, easily and quickly from your mobile or your computer. Alternatively, you can visit one of our branches to register.
To change your password, login to Mobile Banking and select Profile-Settings-Password management-Change password or through Internet Banking and select Settings-Security Settings-Password management–Change password.
Your account has been blocked after 3 wrong password attempts.

If you’ve forgotten your login credentials, you can retrieve them fast and easily in one of the following ways:

  • Via NBG Mobile Banking:
    • If you’ve forgotten only your Password: Go to the home page of your application, fill in your Username, then click “Forgot Password” and create a new Password by filling out your Personal Data or your email (if you’ve already registered for the Password recovery service via email).
    • If you’ve forgotten both your login credentials (Username & Password): Go to the home page of your application and click on “Register now”. Then select “Get i-bank codes” and follow the relevant steps to create a Username (the email you will designate). After entering the number of your debit card and your PIN, if a message appears on the screen saying you're already a customer, click "Forgot i-bank details" and create a new Password. All you need is the number and PIN of your debit card.
  • Via Internet Banking and the “Password Recovery” service you can choose between:
    • “Unlock code via email” (provided you’ve already signed up for the service. Find out more at https://www.nbg.gr/el/i-bank/password-email) or
    • “Unlock Password by filling out your personal data”. Enter your Username, click “Next” and “Forgot Password”.
  • By calling at +30 210 4848484 (automated service): call from the mobile phone on which you get your OTP codes and say "Unlock Ιnternet Βanking Password”.
 
You can recover your username through the Digital Banking service, by selecting "I forgot my Username" and filling in your debit card details.

If you’re locked out of your Internet & Mobile Banking account, you can retrieve your passwords in one of the following ways:

  • Via NBG Mobile Banking: Go to the home page of your application, fill in your Username, then click “Forgot Password” and create a new Password by filling out your Personal Data or your email (if you’ve already registered for the Password recovery service via e-mail).
  • Via Internet Banking and the “Password Recovery” service you can choose between:
    • “Unlock code via email” (provided you’ve already signed up for the service. Find out more at https://www.nbg.gr/el/i-bank/password-email) or
    • “Unlock Password by filling out your personal data”. Enter your Username, click “Next” and “Forgot Password”.

Approval of transactions using the Fast Login PIN or biometric data

Now, you can approve transactions you carry out via Internet or Mobile Banking, using the Fast Login PIN or biometrics data (such as your fingerprint or FaceID) that you set up through NBG Mobile Banking!

More specifically, by activating this new functionality on your mobile, you will no longer receive and enter OTPs to approve transactions. Post activation:

  • for Digital Banking transactions, you will approve your transaction through a push notification on your mobile phone, either by entering the Fast Login PIN you have specified, or by fingerprint or FaceID.
  • for Mobile Banking transactions, you will directly approve your transaction in the same way.
