Harry Vovos was appointed Assistant General Manager Large Corporate & Transaction Banking in October 2023. 

He joined National Bank of Greece in 2017, as Head of Corporate Banking – Large Groups, responsible for the coverage, credit and business development of the Large Corporate Client portfolio. 

In October 2020 he was appointed Head of the newly established Corporate Transaction Banking unit, to which he was a founding executive. Corporate Transaction Banking is responsible for the sales development across the Corporate Client portfolio of a broad range of products & services including Trade & Trade Finance, Supply Chain, Financial products, Digital & Cash Management. 

In parallel, Harry is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NBG Factors S.A. since May 2020.

Harry started his career in 2002 in the Corporate Banking Division of Cyprus Popular Bank (Hellas) S.A. In October 2004 he joined HSBC Bank Plc (Athens Branch) in the Global Banking & Markets Division, where he was employed until 2017. During his career with HSBC, Harry held various senior positions in Corporate Banking with the latest being Deputy Head of Wholesale Banking and Head of Corporate, Greece.

Harry holds a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Finance from Manchester School of Accounting & Finance, the University of Manchester, and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business. He speaks English, German and French.
