The i-work@nbg program enables its participants to gain know-how and professional experience, through paid internships, on specialized banking fields related to their studies.  The application process for 2023 has been completed. Candidates who apply for the Program need to meet the following requirements in order to qualify for the evaluation and selection process:

1. Academic degree obtained within the past three years

2. Academic performance corresponding to a degree grade of > 6.5 for undergraduate studies and > 7.0 for postgraduate studies or the equivalent grades of a foreign institution

3. Work experience up to 3 years 

 

The most suitable candidates will participate in a selection process, including: 

1. A written test for verbal and numerical skills

2. An interview with HR Talent Acquisition Professionals

3. An interview with executives of the respective Business Units

 

The recruitment process is expected to be completed by the end of August and the Internship will start in fall. 

  • First, you will attend an induction course to "get to know" our Group  
  • Throughout the Program, you'll participate in several developmental activities, such as team-building, coaching sessions, assessement & development centers, etc.
  • You'll receive targeted training and information on tools, practices, technologies and methodologies related to your field of employment.

From the very first day you will have “your own work buddy:

(a) at your Business Unit to:

  • get on-the-job training
  • network with colleagues
  • deepen your knowledge and receive guidance
  • develop professional skills

(b) at the Group HR Strategy and Operational Effectiveness Division for:

  • your effective induction into the working environment
  • personalized support and guidance
  • constructive feedback
 

Undertaking substantial duties

Knowledge is translated into practice! Through the i-work@nbg program, you gain experience in specialized fields of the Bank's business activities related to your studies and professional interests.

  • Sharing your ideas and being an active team member

Presentation of your "i-work@nbg" experience to senior executives

Upon completion of the Program, you'll make a presentation to NBG senior executives, where you will:  

  • describe the tasks you carried out, the projects you participated in, and the results achieved
  • present the knowledge and skills you developed, as well as the experiences you gained from your participation in developmental activities
  • formulate creative and innovative proposals

 

Evaluation – Feedback

At the end of the Program

  • we will evaluate your overall progress and performance 
  • you will rate the Program in respect of its design, implementation and effectiveness.
