Maria is our country's top tennis player at the moment, and perhaps the greatest of all time. 

Born in 1995, she has brought home impressive distinctions for Greece in tennis, while in recent years she has consistently ranked among the top 10 of the Women's Tennis Rankings (WTA), with her top moment so far being her rise to number 3. 

Always present at major events, she is aspiring to win a Grand Slam that will establish her among the great tennis players of all time. With her participation in the Olympic Games  in Paris, Maria will claim another important distinction in her career as a sportsperson.
