We participated in the “Her_Research” awards

As part of our support for matters of research and innovation ecosystem, we participated in the Award Ceremony of the 3rd cycle of the "Her_Research" action. The award ceremony for the year 2024 "Her_Research", where the 8 winning research teams of the Bootcamp were announced, was held on Saturday 27 April 2024 at 17:00 at the stage of Pavilion 15, in the Exhibition Area of TIF-HELEXPO, in the framework of the BEYOND innovation, entrepreneurship and technology exhibition.

Dr. Spyros Arsenis, Head of Business Innovation Development at NBG gave a short welcome speech and awarded one of the “#Her_Research” prizes of the action’s 3rd cycle. Two teams were shortlisted to participate directly in Phase II of the 15th Innovation & Technology Competition, of NBG:
The team of Ms.Andromahi Tzani (School of Chemical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens) under the research proposal title: “Green solvents for the  development of innovative active packaging” and the teams of Ms. Ioanna Karamichali and Eleni Stefanidou (ΙΝAΒ | CERTH) under the  research proposal title: “MICROFIRE: Design of Digital Twins  for fire-affected areas to revive biodiversity and soil health using precision probiotics for plants."

The #Her_Research action is an innovative and rewarding initiative of the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (SEGE), addressed to the members of the Association who are focusing on the field of research, and to women researchers who are not yet in the sphere of entrepreneurship and whose activity has not already been supported by other official actions.
The aim of #Her_Research is to enhance women researchers in terms of expertise, access funding, exchange useful information and experiences, and facilitate their networking in the business world.
