POS financing in 3 steps

Step 1: Apply at any NBG Branch.

The first step is to visit a branch to get information, provide the necessary documents and submit your application.

Step 2: We assess your application

After studying your documents, we will carry out a credit check on your business.

Step 3: We disburse your funding

If your application is approved, you will need to visit the branch to sign the financing contract and to enable the ability of disbursements.

Who is the product aimed at?

The product is available exclusively to businesses already in contract with the bank that accept as a means of payment the credit/debit/prepaid card of their customers from a POS device of NBG PAY.

What product options do I have?

You choose the product that suits you according to the method of payment that suits you:

POS financing Overdraft:
Funding amount from €10,000 to €70,000, and up to 50% of the business's transaction volume over the last rolling twelve months via POS (as of the evaluation date). The authorized limit is used through a current account, which acts as a service account and in which POS transactions are settled, creating a credit balance. If a credit balance is available, it is drawn down to reduce the debit balance of the limit daily. Any unused credit balance is at the disposal of the business.

POS financing Open Business Plan:
Funding amount from €6,000 to €35,000, and up to 50% of the business's transaction volume over the last rolling twelve months via POS (as of the evaluation date). The authorized limit is used through a current account, which acts as a service account. POS transactions are settled in a different (from the service account) current account, which acts as a feeder account.
At the end of each month (last working day), an installment is calculated, equal to the monthly interest plus 10% of the debit balance of the limit with a minimum payment obligation of €100. On the last working day of the month following the installment calculation, there is an obligation to pay the total amount of the installment, which is systematically sought to be collected from the feeder account. If the balance is insufficient, the amount shall be sought from the service account.

It is noted that the relevant administrative costs will have to be paid for both current accounts.

Is collateral required to be offered to obtain the funding?

Only contractual securities.

What fees will I have to pay, and when will they be charged?

The costs you will need to pay are €300 per year.
Expenses will be debited to the account concerned in the first month in which it has a debit balance and on each annual anniversary of the opening of the account, irrespective of the existence of a debit balance.

What is the duration of the loan?

Up to 1 year with the option to renew.
When assessing the limit renewal, the volume of POS transactions of the business through NBG PAY will be checked.

How will I be updated on my account?

An informative monthly statement is issued for your company's account activity and is provided free of charge.
