We participated in the Doers Summit 2025
In our drive to support the export orientation of the innovation ecosystem, NBG and NBG Business Seeds participated in the Doers Summit 2025. The conference was held for the first time in Greece, on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 February, at the "Technopolis" of the Municipality of Athens, aiming to spotlight the rising stars of the innovation and technology ecosystem in SE Europe. The conference was attended by the region’s top founders of startups, investors, and fund managers, with a view to networking and exchange of know-how. NBG, in exclusive collaboration with the conference organizers, supported the event as a Silver sponsor, while a targeted networking event was hosted in the Old (Small) Stock Exchange of Athens.
Mr. Ernestos Panayiotou, General Manager of NBG Transformation, Strategy & International Activities, participated in the discussion panel “What’s next, Greece?” while Mr. Charis Vlatakis, Head of NBG’s Group Business Strategy Sector, participated in the panel of judges where the groups presented their innovative business ideas. Throughout the duration of the conference, NBG Business Seeds had an exhibition booth, where Mr. Giorgos Nikolaou, Strategy Analyst at the Business Innovation Development Subdivision, welcomed visitors and presented to them the Bank's innovation actions.
