Take advantage of significant opportunities for your business

Business energy saving

It is estimated that reducing the energy cost of business operations and increasing energy efficiency should significantly benefit Greek businesses; energy costs can be drastically reduced by subsidizing specific practices and actions. For example:

  • Supply and installation of energy saving equipment
  • Investments in energy upgrade of facilities and infrastructure
  • Installation of Renewable Energy Source (RES) equipment
  • Supply of electric vehicles

This aspect of the program will be of particular interest to the engineering and construction industry.

Smart manufacturing

The program subsidizes the costs borne by manufacturing companies for the supply of machinery and production equipment, alongside the modernization of the companies' infrastructure, with a view to enhancing competitiveness and innovation. The subsidy rate is up to 50% (depending on the aid intensity per region). Note that, according to gov.gr, the following submission period and deadline applies.

Submission of applications starts on: 07/12/2022 at 13:00
through: 01/02/2023 at 13:00

The government expenditure and aid to the business is calculated as a percentage of the eligible budget and is granted in the form of a capital subsidy by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.

Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises

The program aims at the digital transformation of businesses, with the help of advanced technologies and IT.

Subsidized costs relate to:

  • Installation of infrastructure for remote work
  • Supply of task management systems
  • Supply of process automation software

Electric vehicles and chargers

Environmental needs are manifold, and the development of technology can help us meet these needs, including the wider use of electric vehicles, which the NSRF 2021-2027 supports through subsidies:

  • replacing older vehicles with new electric ones
  • supplying electric chargers and respective equipment
  • creating an electric vehicle charger networks at businesses

Strengthening the primary sector

Our country produces a wide variety of agricultural and livestock products.

The NSRF 2021-2027 aims to strengthen primary sector enterprises, providing incentives for investments in agricultural and livestock production, especially in top-end products, in innovation and in the biological processing of food.
