This part of the program targets tourism businesses that want to modernize and invest in diversifying their product.
The program aims to increase competitiveness in the post-Covid era by subsidizing the renovation of existing tourist units and new investments in alternative forms of tourism.

Business energy saving
It is estimated that reducing the energy cost of business operations and increasing energy efficiency should significantly benefit Greek businesses; energy costs can be drastically reduced by subsidizing specific practices and actions. For example:
- Supply and installation of energy saving equipment
- Investments in energy upgrade of facilities and infrastructure
- Installation of Renewable Energy Source (RES) equipment
- Supply of electric vehicles
This aspect of the program will be of particular interest to the engineering and construction industry.
Smart manufacturing
The program subsidizes the costs borne by manufacturing companies for the supply of machinery and production equipment, alongside the modernization of the companies' infrastructure, with a view to enhancing competitiveness and innovation. The subsidy rate is up to 50% (depending on the aid intensity per region). Note that, according to gov.gr, the following submission period and deadline applies.

The government expenditure and aid to the business is calculated as a percentage of the eligible budget and is granted in the form of a capital subsidy by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises
The program aims at the digital transformation of businesses, with the help of advanced technologies and IT.
Subsidized costs relate to:
- Installation of infrastructure for remote work
- Supply of task management systems
- Supply of process automation software
Electric vehicles and chargers
Environmental needs are manifold, and the development of technology can help us meet these needs, including the wider use of electric vehicles, which the NSRF 2021-2027 supports through subsidies:
- replacing older vehicles with new electric ones
- supplying electric chargers and respective equipment
- creating an electric vehicle charger networks at businesses
Strengthening the primary sector
Our country produces a wide variety of agricultural and livestock products.
The NSRF 2021-2027 aims to strengthen primary sector enterprises, providing incentives for investments in agricultural and livestock production, especially in top-end products, in innovation and in the biological processing of food.
