Roundup of NBG Business Seeds events at the 88th TIF 2024
The events run by NBG Business Seeds at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair were concluded successfully and well attended.
On Saturday 7 September, the ESG 2.0 Challenges and Opportunities event took place. Four panels and 17 speakers discussed and explored issues related to the Environment, Social Responsibility and Inclusion, and Corporate Governance. The event was opened by the President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI), Ms. Sophia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou, while speakers Ms. Ioanna Sapoutzi, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at NBG, and Dr. Spyros Arsenis, Head of the Business Innovation Development Unit at NBG, took part. The second event Women and Leadership 3.0 was held on Saturday 14 September. The audience had the opportunity to watch the 16 speakers in the 4 panels discuss issues related to the position of women in leadership and innovative entrepreneurship and research. Representing NBG, Ms. Evi Tsoukala, Senior Manager of Corporate Governance, participated in the panel on corporate and institutional initiatives, while Dr. Spyros Arsenis, Head of the Business Innovation Development Unit at NBG, closed the event by summing up the proceedings of the event. The events, hosted at pavilion 17 of the ACCI, were co-organized by NBG Business Seeds, the Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry, OK! Thess, the Alexander Innovation Zone, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, the Hellenic Development Investment Bank, and Bayer Hellas.
