We are pleased to announce the start of the 13th Innovation & Technology Competition of the NBG Business Seeds program.
This is the longest-lived Innovation Competition run by a Greek organization, in which 7,209 people have already participated.
The purpose of the Competition is to highlight and reward original ideas, research results, business plans and companies that contribute to the development of innovative systems and applications, based on new technologies, integration of environmental considerations in the design of products and services, the spread of use of new information and communication technologies, and in general in the promotion of innovation in Greece.
The participants in the competition are invited to information, knowledge and mentoring actions by NBG’s experienced executives and the partners of the program: KEMEL, the Archimedes Center of NKUoA, the Onassis Foundation, the National Documentation Centre, HIGGS, OK! Thesis, CapsuleT and 45 more bodies and organizations.
In the context of the Competition, the first 4 proposals receive cash prizes of €20,000, €10,000, €6,000 and €4,000 respectively, after evaluation by University Professors and National Bank of Greece executives. The first ten proposals receive significant publicity and mentoring by the Bank's team. In the case of shortlisted proposals, the potential for partnership with the Bank, use of their products and services, and participation by NBG in their share capital are all explored.
